Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience working in payroll and benefits administration
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organization skills
- Able to work independently and within teams to meet deadlines
- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and Alberta Employment Standards
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Google Suite and payroll systems
- Class 5 Driver’s License or equivalent is required
- A business diploma, accounting certificate, or equivalent work experience is an asset
- Experience using Ceridian-Dayforce is an asset
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Enter and maintain accurate payroll information for part-time and full-time employees including:
- Wage and salary adjustments
- Processing bi-weekly payroll information
- Verify accuracy of overtime, premiums, and deductions calculations
- Accurate and timely record of time-off requests and time entries
- Payroll-related remittances including WCB, pensions, RRSP, etc.
- Reviewing and completing various payroll forms (ROE, T4, T4A, etc)
- Enter and maintain group benefits information including:
- Providing notice of eligibility to employees
- Enrolling new employees
- Provide support completing forms as required and inputting necessary information for payroll
- Ensure deductions are accurate and reconcile health, dental, accounts, etc.
- Maintain employee records regarding new hires, changes, terminations, and benefits administration
- Address Team Member inquiries regarding payroll
- Remain up to date on all ongoing changes to payroll and benefits administration and processing and relevant laws and regulations
- Ability to work in office

- Salary Range: $55,000 - $60,000 annually
