Skwlax Resource Management Ltd. is currently seeking a full time, permanent Payroll - Human Resources Administrator based out of our offices in Chase, British Columbia.
Key Job Duties:
- Set up and maintain new employee profiles and files, digital and hard copies.
- Assist with the development and implementation of financial procedures and policies
- Assist colleagues, when necessary, with general administrative and financial duties.
- Verify Employee Hours Worked
- Update Employees Pay File with Salary and Wage Changes
- Ensure All Banking Information for Each Employee Is Correct
- Process Payroll a full-cycle payroll
- Create Supporting Documentation Such as Paystubs and T4s
- Prepare and issue Records of Employment
- Create Reports to Manage Payroll Payments, Deductions and Other Regular Modifications
- Electronically Submit All Pay Information to The Bank
- Electronically Distribute Employee Pay
Stubs
- Manage Payroll Errors And Correct Issues For Employees
- Balance And Prepare Source Deduction
Payments
- Maintain Pay Period Files and Employees Master Files
- Assist with building, recruiting and
maintaining the Human Resources Management System as required
- Produce Monthly Reports
- Assist With Month End Closing
- Provide Supporting Documentation for Audits
- Maintain Accurate Historical Records
- Maintain Confidentiality
- Support Manager of Finance and Other Departments As Required
- Other Related Duties as Required
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certificate or Diploma in Accounting or Payroll or related discipline, or combination of education and related work experience.
- 1 – 3 years of experience with Human Resources management.
- 1 – 3 years of experience with Payroll.
- Full cycle accounting experience an asset.
- Previous experience in construction an asset.
- Previous experience working with First Nations an asset.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of accounting procedures.
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
- Proficient in English and MS Office (Including Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio)
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain Company integrity through confidentiality and discretion
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
