Personal Lines Insurance Specialist
Additional Responsibilities include:
- Service on-going client needs, advise on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommend solutions, answer inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals, endorsements, cancellations.
- Sell new policies/write new business to existing or new clients, retain existing book of business.
- Ensure that all new business quotes/policies are accurately recorded on the most current new business report, including lead information.
- Prepare documentation for insurers, complete applications for clients, issue insurance certificates, process changes and review renewals.
- Attend product knowledge seminars as directed by the Personal Lines Manager and Business Unit.
- Promote London Drugs in the community as a place to shop and a place to work.
- Ensure quality and service levels are maintained to Company standards.
- Ensure license is maintained in good standing and all necessary continuing education credits are obtained.
- Excellent communication and telephone skills.
- Strong selling skills.
- Highly organized and able to multitask effectively and work under changing priorities.
- A level I, II or III general insurance license
- Solid understanding of home, auto, and general insurance products
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency.
- Attention to accuracy on all documentation.
- Able to use good judgment and reasonable care when dealing with customers, confidential information and sensitive situations.
