We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy staff in providing quality patient care and ensuring the efficient operation of the pharmacy.
```Duties```
- Assist pharmacists with prescription processing and medication dispensing
- Prepare medication orders for patients and ensure accurate labeling
- Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels and placing orders as needed
- Perform data entry tasks to update patient records and prescription information
- Provide excellent customer service by answering phone calls, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues
- Adhere to all pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance with legal requirements
- Assist with medication inventory management, including checking expiration dates and organizing shelves

- Pharmacy technician: Familiarity with pharmacy operations and understanding of prescription processing.

Previous pharmacy experience is a requirement and the successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual and team player who possesses excellent communication and customer service skills.
Experience with Kroll and compliance packaging would be an asset. Salary commensurate with experience. Hours include primarily weekdays and some Saturdays if needed. No Sundays or Statutory holidays.
