Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the pharmacy staff in providing excellent patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of the pharmacy. Duties:
- Assist Pharmacists in dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
- Prepare prescription orders by counting, pouring, labeling, and packaging medications
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Enter patient information and prescription details into the pharmacy computer system (Fillware knowledge is an asset)
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, answering questions and addressing concerns.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a retail pharmacy (asset)
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly
Schedule:
Monday to Friday from 9 AM-5PM
No Weekends.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
