Responsibilities and Duties
The Pharmacy Assistant assumes responsibility for supporting the Pharmacists in the preparation of prescriptions and maintenance of drug inventory. Additionally, the candidate interacts with patients in-person or over the phone to fulfill their requests.
- Providing the highest level of customer service, both in person and over the phone
- Managing pharmacy supply and medication inventory
- Managing the prescription process: data entry- >billing- >packaging
- Maintaining patient files and ensuring they are always up-to-date
- Fostering and maintaining great relationships with patients and staff members
- Other duties and tasks as required from time to time.
Qualifications and Skills
The Applicant must demonstrate:
- Excellent communication in English and customer service skills
- Leadership skills
- Superior organizational, interpersonal and problem solving skills
- Self-starter, highly motivated and detail oriented
- Able to work in a team and independently
- Quick learner
- A clear understanding and use, with little supervision, of Kroll software
Candidate must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
