Pharmacy Assistant/Technician

Seeking Pharmacy Assistant/Technician. Position will include but is not limited to:

Greeting and confirmation of accuracy of all pertinent prescription information, inputting new and refill prescriptions, third party adjudication, packaging prescriptions, making blister packs, maintaining inventory (sending/receiving orders, managing expiries & returns), maintaining customer and pharmacy files, handling customer prescription pick up, some cashier responsibilities, general cleaning of dispensary, etc.

Rate dependent on experience. We operate Monday-Friday 9am-6pm and Saturdays 9am-4pm. Closed Sundays & statutory holidays.

Requirements include:

- Community pharmacy experience

- A highly developed sense of customer care

-* Experience with PROPEL RX operating system *

- Experience with PharmaClik/Mckesson

- Excellent communication skills

- Attention to detail and superior organizational abilities

- Good mathematical skills

- Must be flexible, hard-working, friendly and a team player

- Long-term commitment

- Available to work Saturdays (2 per month)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Salary: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
