**Job Description:**

Join our team at Darby Photos as a Team Member, where you'll wear many hats, performing many jobs around the office and at photo sessions. We all pitch in, and no task or job is above or below anyone. However, your personal niche will be in Marketing and Design. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in promoting our services, enhancing our brand presence, assisting in photo editing and correction tasks, and the taking of top-quality photography products.

This multifaceted position requires a diverse skill set, including strong computer proficiency, graphic and/or web design experience, and excellent people skills.

Previous photography experience, or photo editing experience is not needed. We only as that you come ready to learn!

**Work Schedule:**

This is a full-time position with seasonal work hours. Our operations thrive for 8 months of the year, during which employees typically work 6 or 7 days a week, every week, with the work day often spanning 10 to 12 hours and sometimes even more per day. This intensive period is paired with a more relaxed schedule for the remaining four months, often consisting of just a few days of work per week, if any. We seek candidates who embrace the ebb and flow of seasonal demands, wanting to stray from the traditional 9-5 grind, opting instead for an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and rewarding work environment.

**Key Responsibilities Include, But Are NOT Limited To:**

- Design templates for photo products, ensuring they reflect modern, relevant, and on-trend aesthetics.

- Create promotional materials such as marketing brochures and advertisements to showcase our services and attract new clients.

- Assist in designing and maintaining our company website, ensuring it offers a visually appealing and user-friendly experience.

- Support our social media presence by developing engaging content to increase brand awareness and audience engagement.

-Collaborate with our head lab technician to color correct portraits, crop images, and perform basic retouching.

- Utilize Microsoft Office to manage databases efficiently.

- Apply basic portrait composition techniques and camera skills during on-location volume photo shoots. Photography will be part of this position, however no prior experience is needed.

- Provide general support and assistance to customers over the phone as needed.

- Utilize strong people skills to effectively communicate with clients and team members.

**Required Skills:**

- Strong computer skills and understanding of digital platforms.

- Proficiency in graphic design.

- Proficiency in web design and html coding.

-Graphically creative, and able to come up with new and modern designs to keep our company image refreshed.

- Ability to create promotional material, including marketing collateral, website design, and social media content.

- Comfortable using Excel and Excel formulas.

- Basic portrait composition and camera skills.

- Basic knowledge of photo editing software, such as Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards in image editing and correction.
