Plant Contract Operator

POSITION: Contract Plant Operator

Ricochet Oil Corp. (ROC) is currently seeking Contract Production Operators for our 06-32-048-07W5M Oil Processing Facility (VG 32) within our Pembina Area Operations. The Contract Operator will monitor plant operations and Clear Scada Alarm System as per ROC and Regulatory guidelines and requirements; assist with operational and engineering strategies to optimize production. The successful candidate will have proven success in the ability to be flexible and adapt to change. The successful candidate will be required to reside within a maximum of 100 km of the area of work of their respective work area (will consider up to 150 km for the correct candidate).

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor VG 32 Plant Operations
• Monitor Scada for field and call in support where necessary
• Identify hazards and the subsequent reporting and corrective action follow up
• Optimizing and troubleshooting of daily plant operations
• Provide routine maintenance on VG32 Facility to ensure safe and efficient operation
• Facilitate the daily production input and balancing of well data
• Optimize production by proposing innovative strategies on how to improve well and facility productivity

Essential Experience & Skills

• 5-20 years of relevant industry experience with strong preference given towards oil operations, specifically oil wells, compressors and batteries
• Formal operational and safety training including: First Aid/CPR, H2S Alive, TDG/WHMIS
• Proven and demonstrated commitment to HSE expectations and requirements, software experience in field data capture (Prodman), and electronic flow measurement systems as well as the ability to coach and mentor others
• Experience working as a team player to achieve assigned area targets
• 5th Class Power Engineering Ticket (Boiler on site) or a willingness to attain in short order

Salary: $40.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 84 per week
