Pool & Hot Tub Technician

Gold Coast Landscaping Inc. is hiring a full-time Pool & Hot Tub Technician. The right candidate will be mechanically inclined. This position is for someone who enjoys working with their hands, troubleshooting, solving problems, enjoys working in a team environment as well work outdoors.

Job duties:

• Installation of all plumbing & pool equipment
• Hot Tub & Pool Equipment Repairs
• Operation of power tools and equipment
• Pool Opening & Pool Closing
• Daily Log of Work Orders
• To Assist with Pool Installations Onsite

Requirements:

• This individual must have a willingness to learn and follow instruction.
• Mechanically inclined
• Positive attitude
• Be prepared to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Handling of plumbing & pool/Hot Tub chemicals (WHMIS Provided)
• Must have the ability to lift 50lbs repetitively throughout an 8-10 hour workday
• Candidates must have a flexible schedule and be able to work Monday – Friday, plus Saturdays during peak season 40-45HRS/WEEK as well some On-Call
• Valid G license with clean abstract with own transportation to & from work
• Work Van to be negotiated if candidate has experience in this field

Job Type: Full Time – Seasonal, with the option of work through the winter to lead to fulltime.

Wage: Negotiated at interview $25-35
Experience in this field of work is preferred however willing to train the right candidate.
