- Provide high quality and professional service, advice, and counsel to current and prospective students, both domestic and international students, as well as applicants, parents, alumni and the general public.
- Provide information, guidance, and services supporting a student’s enrolment in the College (including, but not limited to, admissions, registration, tuition and student fees assessment and collection, student records and transcripts, transfer credit, and student financial support including government student loans and awards/scholarships).
- Maintain and support processes leading to accurate, complete, and validated enrolment, academic, and financial records for students.
- Act as a student’s main point of contact for Enrolment Services and deliver excellent customer service experiences.
- Assist students and staff in navigating Cambrian policies, processes, and systems as they inform a student’s enrolment, progression, graduation, and financial account.
Required:
- Must have a three-year postsecondary diploma, degree, or equivalent in a related field. (A copy of educational documents must be submitted with application *** education completed outside of Canada, applicants are required to submit a WES or ICAS with their application)
- Minimum of three years of experience in a service-centered environment that requires exceptional customer service.
- Experience interpreting, applying, and advising on policies and procedures, ideally in a postsecondary and registrarial setting.
- Experience listening to others and asking clarifying questions to identify, respond and handle confidential and/or sensitive issues and/or material with empathy, diplomacy, and discretion.
- Experience exercising resourcefulness while analyzing problems, identifying key information and issues, and developing effective solutions.
- Experience working independently and exercising good judgment to make decisions on matters of varying complexity.
- Experience developing and cultivating relationships with key stakeholders.
- Proven ability to communicate (in writing and verbally) at an advanced level.
- Strong analytical, organizational, time-management, skills, along with good tact, and judgment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- Collaborative professional who promotes teamwork and works cohesively within a team-oriented environment.
