Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Service Advisor. As a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and acting as a liaison between customers and our automotive service department. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with dealership experience and a passion for the automotive industry.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them with scheduling service appointments
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document their vehicle's issues
- Provide detailed explanations of recommended repairs and maintenance services
- Generate repair orders and obtain necessary approvals from customers
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicles throughout the repair process
- Communicates any customer issues or disputes (i.e. customer charge backs) to the General Manager
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise
- Filing invoices
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a dealership or automotive repair environment is highly preferred
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell maintenance services and repairs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of automotive systems, parts, and repairs
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
