Job Description

Heuvelmans is looking to expand our team and hire a Service Advisorfor our dealership.

As a Service Advisor, you will be the bridge between our customers and our service technicians. You will play a crucial role in understanding customer needs, recommending services, and ensuring a smooth and efficient service process. Your goal will be to ensure customer satisfaction by providing timely updates, accurate service estimates, and a clear explanation of service work performed. This role works closely with the Service Technicians and Tower Operator for a seamless customer experience.

This is a full-time position that requires availability Monday to Friday from, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, and must be willing to work a rotating Saturday shift from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM.

Major Responsibilities

• Greeting customers and evaluating their service needs.

• Provide accurate estimates for service work, including parts and labor.

• Writing work orders for technicians in the main shop.

• Cashing out service customers.

• Explain service work and any recommendations for additional services to customers.

• Excellent communication with customers, providing regular communication regarding the status of the work.

• Answering phone calls and scheduling of service appointments.

Qualifications/Competencies

• Valid full G driver’s license is required.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Basic understanding of car mechanics and basic computer skills.

• High level of professionalism and customer service orientation.

• Experience in the automotive industry is an asset, but not required.
