Job Description:
As the Preschool Marketing Manager you will support the Marketing Director as a senior member of the Marketing Team, while being a strong, motivating leader to those around you.
You’ll help to oversee the development of category-leading marketing plans for the preschool business categories to drive consumer demand and trade marketing engagement. This includes Paw Patrol, Gabby’s Dollhouse, Dora, Gund, Ms Rachel and Vida the Vet.
You’ll lead specific projects and processes focused around improving the Marketing Planning process to support the ever-changing retail landscape. As a leader you’ll coach and support the cross functional marketing team and direct reports.
How will you create impact?
Support the UK Marketing Director as a key part of the UK marketing leadership team, with the ability to bridge the department where and when required by the Marketing Director
Take a lead position in coordinating key functions/processes with the Marketing Director, such as, but not limited to:
Circana / consumer insight
TLP Management/Pricing
Marketing Budgets and Tracking
Managing External relationships
International Marketing Meetings
Act as a leader for selected areas of the business to help provide guidance, expertise, and support to the managing team
Oversee the development, maintenance, and planning of preschool business categories
Manage selection of leading GBU/Brands and ABM
People Management – support and develop direct reports and be a mentor within the business, championing Spin Master’s core values and culture.
What are your skills and experience?
Result driven – strive to exceed your goals. A creative thinking with a proactive approach
Strong marketing skills – experience in developing and delivering strong marketing plans. Plans that stand out against the competition, are best in class internally and deliver fully on a commercial level
Commercial outlook – appreciating the need for commercially viable plans
Genuine team player able to work across all departments (e.g. sales, marketing, finance, demand planning, supply) and with external stakeholders (e.g. retailers, licensors).
Good communicator – both internally and with external partners – e.g. retailers and licensors
Degree Educated with marketing/business qualifications (preferably). Marketing qualifications could include Degree, Diploma in Marketing (DipM) or other recognised marketing qualifications from the UK or overseas.
More than 5 years relevant experience – ideally in the Toy Industry at Marketing Manager level
