We are looking for somone with a continuous improvement mindset. You will troubleshoot, monitor and improve the efficiency, output and safety of manufacturing processes. You will need to feel comfortable communicating with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production at high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials. You will need to have a strong desire for personal advancement and the willingness to acheive by learning our manufacturing systems and reporting as scheduled with an upbeat team player mindset as well as be team-oriented, goal driven and motivated!
THIS POSITION PAYS $30.00/HR and up (Depending on Experience)
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, 7am-430pm
SUMMARY OF FUNCTION: The Process Engineering Technician will collect data to ensure line optimazation while meeting required safety standards and compliance. The ideal candidate will work with production personnel to ensure quick start-ups while striving to have more efficient line speeds while maintaining the quality and integrity of our products.

DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES:
• Day to Day coverage of production line process
• Rapid response on out-of-control processes to minimize cost and maximize productivity
• Disposition of all non-conforming materials produced by the manufacturing line
• Investigate and implement countermeasures to improve process Cpk and product yield
• Maintain and help develop up-to-date manufacturing instructions
• Summarize and analyze yield and process data
• Work with Engineering and Manufacturing to ensure maintenance instructions and schedules are always available and current
• Troubleshoot equipment and process related issues
• Manage small projects involving multiple departments and/or outside contractors
• Support Lean Manufacturing (Kaizen) and 5S initiatives
• Maintain neat and orderly work area
• Follow all safety requirements
• Additional duties as required
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
• Requires 2+yrs of related experience or equivalent combination of education in science, math or engineering
• Ability to speak, read and write English fluently (Bi-Lingual is a Plus!)
• Basic understanding of CAD and OnShape
• Proficient in PFMEA's, SOP's and process mapping
• Familiarity with ERP/SAP is a plus
• Basic understanding of CAD and OnShape
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Data Entry Skills
• Ability to adhere to all Safety Measures and Procedures (SOP's, GMP's)
• Ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical issues

• Ability to gather data, analyze it and provide feedback to Engineering Team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to organize and support multiple priorities and projects
• Fully mobile from one manufacturing area to another
• Able to step over and/or bend under objects
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable assistance
• Must be able to work flexible shifts as needed

**Amount earned is based on Plant performance in four Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) safety, savings, productivity and teamwork. Employee must be active full-time status during the quarter and at time of payout, with good attendance and no disciplinary action.
