Vancouver Island’s largest selection of organic, local and conventional produce, a full service butcher and deli, a
boutique florist and garden centre, artisanal grocery, dairy & breads, a bulk foods section and most recently a new
coffee bar, bringing us to over 10,000 square feet, buzzing with over 120 employees.
THE ROLE
Produce Production Clerks are responsible for the proper filling and rotation of our displays to ensure all products meet our
high standards for freshness and quality, as well as providing excellent customer service.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Trim, water, and merchandise produce.
- Rotate and cull produce to ensure quality standards are upheld.
- Provide superior customer service.
- Work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Gain knowledge of store products and produce growing seasons.
- Adhere to all store policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE COMES EQUIPPED WITH:
- The ability to work a variety of shifts including early mornings (5:00am), evenings (until 10:00pm), and weekends.
- The ability to perform repetitive tasks, stand for long periods of time, work in a cool environment, and lift up to 50lbs.
- The ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a busy environment.
- The ability to work well within a team.
- Previous retail/customer service experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right person with the right attitude!
