Our Production Teams are the key to our success. As a Production Technician, your role is to work collaboratively with your team to safely produce quality products for our customers. A Production Technician at Arauco will:

• Prioritize safety by being an active participant in our safety culture
• Create a quality product through the effective operations of their assigned area equipment
• Be team-player by communicating effectively with their teammates, collaborating to solve problems, covering team mates for meetings or other conflicts, and building relationships with their team and other operations and maintenance teams
• Identify and solve problems, and share new innovate ideas to improve safety, quality, production, and overall operational effectiveness

What are we looking for?

• Qualified
  • Minimum High School Diploma (post-secondary education preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years experience
  • 2-3 years working experience in a production/manufacturing facility
  
  

• Effective
  • Computer skills – good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel are an asset
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Arauco is a 24/7 operation; shift work is required
