We are looking for a General Labourer to join our team and support us in becoming the best Made-to-Order Sprocket manufacturer worldwide! There are no experience requirements for this role. We are looking for someone with a great attitude and the aptitude to learn. We will train and support you with the skills that you need to contribute. This position will work on a 4 on 4 off shift which really allows for you to enjoy all that the area has to offer and true work-life balance. We work hard together and enjoy regular team lunches, outings and events to celebrate all that we do.

This position is an entry-level position and we are open to candidates from all backgrounds and experiences. Starting wages are dependent on the previous, relevant experience that you bring to the role.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Oversee all building and grounds maintenance ensuring the facilities are safe, up to code, and fully operational.
• Assisting in acquiring resources and materials in relation to building and grounds maintenance.
• Assisting with various production tasks when required.
• Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations and maintaining shop cleanliness.
• Perform cleaning activities and ensure cleanliness of each facility.
• Perform garden and yard upkeep (mowing the lawn, collecting trash, snow removal, etc.).
• Perform minor repairs and general maintenance of each facility.
• Collaborate with workers and other professionals during projects.
• Assisting in facility and maintenance issues as necessary.
• Acquire various materials and resources for the company when required.
• Operate the forklift safely and efficiently when required.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, operate machinery and lift up to 50kg.
• Ability to work effectively with a team and independently.
  
• Excellent organizational, time management and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness and passion to quickly learn skills and knowledge that you don’t currently possess.
• Experience in areas such as plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems, landscaping and water conservation are preferred but not required.
• Experience working in a production environment, preferred but not required.
