Job Description
Key Performance Indicators
● Quantity: Produce products in required quantities as per production plan.
● Quality: Produce products to quality standards.
● Cleanliness: Maintain a clean working environment to 5S standards.
● Maintenance: Assist in annual preventative maintenance for production equipment.
● Safety: Maintain a consistently safe working environment.
Primary Responsibilities
Manufacturing Products
● Setup production runs and continuously monitor the operation of the production line.
● Produce goods in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and Health & Safety standards to maintain an efficient and safe working environment.
● Maintain production quality through regular in-process inspections.
● Meet production targets without sacrificing safety or product quality.
Production Targets
● Measure andmonitor production numbers against established targets.
● Identify, communicate and resolve issues that prevent targets from being met.
● Maintain accurate production records, quality reports, and checklist.
Equipment Maintenance
● Maintain equipment by following preventive maintenance schedules and procedures.
● Apply 5S methodology to keep production areas and production equipment organized and tidy.
● Identify and report equipment issues.
● Read and understand the equipment and product specifications sheet.
Cross Training
● Understand other operational roles and responsibilities and be able to assist as needed, including:
- Package products in accordance with production and quality specifications.
- Maintain accurate inventory transaction entry on production runs.
- Rework non-conforming products to convert them into sellable stock.
- Assist in shipping and receiving during high-volume periods.
Your Skills
● You have strong communication skills.
● Ability to work well in a team environment.
● Strongmechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
● Two years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
● Previous machine operating experience is preferred.
● You are dependable and have a positive attitude.
● Have basic computer skills and can follow written instructions.
● Capable of li ing 50 pounds, as this position requires li ing, bending andmoderate physical exertion.
● Able to perform physically repetitive tasks while standing, walking or sitting (8-10 hour shi )

Daily Tasks
● Set, schedule and produce products in accordance with production plans and quality standards.
● Perform rework as required of returned product or those that do not meet quality standards.
● Package product to meet specific targets as outlined in the production plan.
● Inspect and ensure quality control is maintained during production runs.
● Review and perform equipment maintenance on a weekly basis.
● Work in cross trained positions to assist the Operations team as necessary.
Salary: CAD$42,000 - $48,000
