Project Coordinator

The Project Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Director of R&D with coordinating the schedule, budget, issues and helping to resolve risks of the project. Its their job to ensure the project management framework is well-organized and that it runs smoothly. This can include communicating and coordinating with various departments in the organization to make sure everyone is on the same page.

Job Duties:

• Monitor current projects and coordinate all team members involved to keep workflow on track.
• Assign new project tasks.
• Improve the project process.
• Ensure the project aligns with the approved strategy and budget.
• Organize and plan meetings with the Director of R&D, as well as record minutes and detailed notes during meetings, including holding project action owners accountable.
• Arrange and manage team goals, project schedules, and new information; keep all material up to date.
• Communicate timeline changes and new information to the team; track project changes and adjust schedules as needed.
• Keep track of and keep organized all project-related files.
• Create project status reports for project managers and key stakeholders.
• Strategize with the Director of R&D when needed.
• Track and analyze project risks and recommend improvements.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience with small to medium-sized product development or manufacturing projects
• Experience with Project Software such as Smart Sheets, Click up and Microsoft Project.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to manage multiple projects while adhering to strict deadlines and budgets.
• Highly motivated with proven organizational, planning, and prioritizing skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• A project management certification would be an asset.

Requirements:

• Diploma/certificate
• Canadian Citizenship/Legally able to work in Canada.
• Commuting distance to our Rosenort MB Canada (located an easy stress-free 30-minute drive south of Winnipeg)
