Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following skills and experience:

• 3 years preferred sales/estimating experience of $3-5 million annually in a fast-paced industrial environment, ideally with steel plate/grade knowledge.
• Experience with DXF and PDF files, strong computer literacy and use of MS Office programs.
• Estimate steel projects and develop clear and detailed project scope for the customer.
• Maintain current customer relationships.
• Communicate with customers to set realistic deadlines for the completion of work.
• Understand drawings and specifications to identify the types and grades of materials and processes required.
• Verify job costing as needed.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and cutting software an asset.
• Highly proficient in Math calculations.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage changing priorities.
• Detail oriented and dependable.
• Able to maintain confidentiality.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for promoting TD Steel and its products and services to existing and potential customers. The initial focus will be on handling inquiries using AutoCad/Omniwin to produce orders received while learning about our products and service. The duties for this position include:

• Prioritizing customer satisfaction and assisting with customer concerns.
• New business development and account maintenance through proactive communication with existing and new customers.
• Accurate completion of all documentation.
• Using AutoCad and cutting software to complete sales duties.
• Reviewing production schedules to maintain customer promises.

• Steel Industry: 3 years (Preferred)
• Sales/estimating: 3 years (Preferred)
• Autocad

Compensation will be based on experience.

Salary: $55,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
