We currently have an opening for a Quality Assurance Technician on a full-time permanent basis. Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, the Quality Assurance Technician will be responsible for a range of duties including but not limited to the following:

Responsibilities:

• Verify quality standard of process set-ups and continued process performance.
• Detect and report, for further action, production and/or component issues pertinent to production safety, performance, artisanship, and dependability.
• Assures product functions as it was designed and in a continuous and reliable manner.
• Responsible for scrap auditing and reporting.
• Must be willing and able to work weekend (when applicable), weekday; day, afternoon and midnight shift rotations

Education and Experience:

• Completed post-secondary technical diploma; a quality related discipline is preferred (ASQ certification an asset).
• 3-5 years’ experience in Quality Assurance/Control, statistical process control, and/or Cost of Quality.
• CMM education and experience
• Experience with SPC and gauging will be considered an asset.
• You must be able to obtain a Possession and Acquisition License.
• Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment would be an asset.
