The position is responsible for Incoming Raw Material, Work In Process and Finished Goods Quality Control testing to ensure specified performance requirements both quality and product/food safety are met.
Details:
Collect and analyze data to ensure product quality and compliance with specifications. Conduct inspections and test on raw materials, work in process and finished products Document and report any deviations or non- conformities to the appropriate personnel. Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Maintain accurate records of test results, Inspections, and other quality related documentation. Assists in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and protocols.
Maintains calibration log for laboratory instruments and interfaces with various calibration services used at the company. Prepares and updates calibration procedures for laboratory instruments. Prepares Certificates of Analysis for assigned customers. Works on assigned Quality/Food/Product Safety Improvement Projects. Maintain orderliness and proper housekeeping of the work area. Performs other duties as required to carry out the departmental and company objectives.
