The Opportunity
We are looking for a very well organized and detail-oriented individual to join our quality team. If you have sound judgment, great time management skills mixed with the ability to work as part of a team, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming materials, according to approved specifications and release to operations for use
- Collect cannabis and water samples aseptically and send out for third-party laboratory testing
- Review batch records, sign off and file for Lot Release
- Participate in Lot Release tasks as requested
- Inspect and release operations rooms and equipment
- Support Operations teams in Quality requirements on the floor for day-to-day operations
- Participate in the Quality Management System, supporting deviations and procedure updates
- Read and comply to internal operating procedures
- Other tasks in the Quality Assurance department as required
Experience
- College or University degree in a relevant scientific field is desired
- At least one-year previous experience dealing with some aspect of Quality Assurance
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Knowledge of the Cannabis Regulations, Canada or EU drug GMP and food & beverage manufacturing requirements is an asset
- Excellent time management and organizational skills required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with experience training others
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic statistical skills
- Knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel
