Job Description:
As a Quality Assurance Technician at QMA, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the precision and quality of our manufacturing processes, with a primary focus on operating our CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine). Your responsibilities will encompass:
Key Responsibilities:
CMM Operation: Proficiently operate and program the CMM machine to measure and inspect precision components.
Quality Inspections: Perform meticulous inspections of machined parts, ensuring they meet strict quality standards and specifications.
Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret measurement data to identify any discrepancies or deviations from design specifications.
Calibration and Maintenance: Maintain and calibrate the CMM machine regularly to ensure accurate and reliable measurements.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inspection results, ensuring compliance with quality documentation and reporting requirements.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Proven experience operating and programming CMM machines.
- A strong understanding of precision measurement techniques and Quality Assurance processes.
- Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and blueprint reading.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work meticulously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify quality issues.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems is a plus.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry is also advantageous.
