- Reinforce the Lafarge safety standards and ensure 100% compliance at all sites
- Demonstrate leadership in safety through proactive employee engagement in daily operational tasks
- Daily management responsibility for the asphalt and aggregate quality control team in the Okanagan market
- Support the Quality Control Supervisor to obtain necessary objectives
- Responsible for the collecting, compiling, and entering of quality control data
- Work closely with the Asphalt and Aggregate teams to provide KPI information.
- Provide support to plant personnel to ensure delivery of the highest quality products
- Work closely with our internal supply team to ensure the quality of our raw materials
- Understand customer's requirements and establish effective relationships - based on quality products, services, and convenience
- Work with the operational teams to deliver the highest level of customer service
- Assist in preparing mix optimization tracking data monthly to ensure maximum recycle percentages and minimize HMA production costs.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly production activity reports and provide accurate month-end reports in a concise and timely manner
- Responsible for the Quality Control personnel
- Responsible for communications with plant operations
- Close interaction with Quality personnel
- Close interaction with Sales personnel
- Close interaction with After Sales Support
- Post-secondary degree or diploma, preferably in, Engineering, C.E.T or equivalent
- A relevant combination of education and experience will be considered
