Real Estate Assistant

MDJ Law & Co. is looking for a Real Estate Conveyancing Assistant to support its clients with Real Estate conveyancing needs.

As a Real Estate Conveyancing Assistant, you will be involved in every stage of the Real Estate transaction, working with other team members at MDJ Law & Co. to provide a superior client service

Areas of Responsibility:

• provide a superior customer experience to MDJ Law & Co.’s clients

• prepare the relevant conveyancing documents for purchases, sales and refinances of residential Real Estate

• oversee, coordinate and take all necessary steps to close Real Estate transactions on the day of closing

• ensure that undertakings and other commitments are fulfilled

• communicate with and gather documents from the stakeholders in the Real Estate conveyancing process

• understand, diagnose and troubleshoot issues with Real Estate transactions in a clear, timely and professional manner

The qualifications you bring forth:

• 2 or more years of proven experience as a Real Estate Conveyancing Assistant, Paralegal or Law Clerk in Alberta

• Experience using Prolegis – Real Estate an asset

• Experience using Cosmolex an asset

• Experience with Microsoft Office an asset

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Strong problem solving and trouble shooting skills

• Excellent customer relationship skills

Salary: $49,593.00-$58,729.00 per year
