We are hiring an experienced Residential Real Estate Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the Residential Real Estate industry, with a strong understanding of the intricacies involved in Residential Real Estate conveyancing.

Responsibilities
- Assist lawyers with all aspects of Residential Real Estate transactions, including purchases, sales, and refinances.
- Conduct title searches, review title documents, review purchase/sale agreements.
- Draft, and review various legal documents including mortgage documents, and Land Title documents.
- Communicate effectively with clients, Real Estate agents, mortgage brokers, and other parties involved in transactions.
- Coordinate, and schedule closings, ensuring all necessary documentation and funds are in place.
- Perform due diligence tasks, such as reviewing surveys, title, and property tax assessments.
- Handle post-closing matters, including registration of documents and preparation of reporting letters to client and lenders.
- Deal directly with banks, realtors and clients.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Real Estate Assistant.
- Strong knowledge of Real Estate law and procedures in Alberta.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software (e.g. Unity, Prolegis, etc.).
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, and deadlines.
