We are looking for an enthusiastic, people-focused, with a customer-service approach and a reliable team player to fill a temporary position of Receptionist. Reporting to the CEO, the Receptionist performs several clerical functions through well-organized documentation, effective communication, and efficient time management.
About the Role:
As a Receptionist, your key responsibilities will include:
- Greet and welcome staff, individual accessing services (IAS) and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage the sign in and out process of everyone coming to the office.
- Answer phone calls, take messages and direct calls to the appropriate staff.
- Provide assistance on parking registration for staff and guests.
- Handle outgoing mail and distribute incoming mail to respective staff.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
- Ensure that the entire office is neat, and furniture are in order.
- Ensure that rooms reserved are suited with the staff needs and purpose of booking the room.
- Be proactive on events planning such as trainings, seminars, and company events.
- Manage inventory and buy office supplies.
- Perform other clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, shredding and going to the bank.
The ideal candidate for the Receptionist role must have the following qualifications:
- Minimum High School Diploma
- At least one year experience working as a Receptionist or similar role.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, personal and approachable with good professional demeanor.
- Highly proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
- Familiarity with office equipment including printers and scanners.
- Great time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and has initiative.
- Strong process orientation, effectively implements and adheres to existing processes.
- Good attention to detail, reliable, ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Must have a Police Check with Vulnerable Person’s Sector (dated within 6 months of application date)
- Must have a Class 5 Non GDL Driver’s License.
- Must be able to start immediately
Vantage offers the following for the Receptionist role:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday (8:30 AM to 04:30 PM)
- Occasionally adjust schedule until evening if there are company events
- Competitive salary of $20 per hour
