Locally, BSF owns and operates five continuing care sites in Calgary and Okotoks. BSF’s Heart Home Network operates a second stage (post-emergency) shelter in Calgary providing a safe housing environment and essential services to support women and children at risk of family violence to transition back into the community.
Job overview:
The Receptionist performs a variety of clerical and receptionist/ secretarial duties associated with the daily operation of an effective business office.
Some of the primary responsibilities include providing administrative support to the Receptionist and departments as directed; operate a multi-line switchboard and route all incoming telephone calls; greet visitors, receive routine inquiries in person and by phone. Make appointments; create and distribute dietary menus; arrange and facilitate tours.
This is a CASUAL role.

Required education and experience:
· Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required;
· Comprehensive MS Office computer skills;
· Previous receptionist experience is preferred.
