Family Practice Office Needs Full-Time Nurse for 18-month Maternity Leave Coverage (RPN or RN)

Immediate Opening - March 2024

Family practice office in East Hamilton, affiliated with the Hamilton Family Health Team, is seeking a full-time office nurse for an 18-month maternity leave coverage starting in mid-April 2024. Open to RNs and RPNs. 30 hrs per week: Mon, Tue, Thu and Fri only. Primary care/outpatient experienced preferred, but new grads welcome to apply. We'll train an enthusiastic candidate willing to learn. Salary is competitive with other primary care offices. We offer vacation and CNE pay.

Job Description
We see patients from newborn to geriatrics. Phone triaging and assisting the Doctor and Physician Assistant (PA) with vitals, immunizations, minor office procedures, Pap smears, etc, are essential duties. Telus/PSS EMR utilized in our office, familiarity with EMRs and computers in general along with good typing skills are requirements for the position. CNO license must be in good standing.

Salary: $32.00-$34.00 per hour
