We are an established building materials manufacturing company with an unrivaled reputation nationally and internationally. Our company is constantly growing and expanding its business to new territories. Our sales team is looking for a Sales Representative to help them solidify its goals and to assist our clients around the Vancouver area. The ideal candidate for this position is a professional with both, proven sales experience in the construction field and basic technical experience of on-site measuring protocols.
Job Details:
- Apply professional sales skills to foster, solidify and increase sales with existing customers in the designated territory.
- Enthusiastic, driven, outside of the box thinker to help us grow our business.
- Increase sales records in designated territory by developing new customer relationships and acquiring new accounts.
- Communicate daily with the sales manager to report and to align on sales development and strategies to meet our quarterly sales targets.
- Research and follow-up ongoing, new and future construction projects in the designated territory to identify business opportunities.
- Read dimensioned architectural drawings for construction projects and identify areas of interest.
- Perform site visits as needed to do/review/confirm technical measurements (training provided).
- Travelling 5% of the time within and outside designated territory as required.
- Submitting accurate expense reports using company’s App.
Minimum Requirements
- 2 years of construction experience.
- Building Envelope, Roofing Experience is preferred.
- Ability to quickly learn technical information.
- College Diploma or Degree minimum.
- Valid driver's license.
- Good background/driving record.
- Work remotely and perform site visits as required.
- Ability to travel out of town as required.
- Competency with Microsoft Office.
- Working at heights and site safety training
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
