Rental Manager

Driving Force is currently seeking a Permanent Full-Time Rental Manager to lead the Rentals department at our Thunder Bay location. We are looking for a leader who is passionate about delivering the highest levels of service and developing long-lasting relationships within the branch.
The Rental Manager is responsible for the department’s operating performance, customer satisfaction, positive employee culture, health & safety, budgets and vendor relations.

You will find success in your ability to:

• Set goals, train, encourage and coach team members on company goals and values
• Open and close Rental Agreements and complete necessary paperwork
• Organize vehicle deliveries and pick-ups to ensure we are continually meeting agreed conditions and deadlines
• Communicate promptly with the Branch Manager and/or Leadership regarding opportunities and new or reoccurring customer issues that arise
• Participate in Budget planning with the Branch Manager
• Maximize sales revenue and vehicle utilization according to company policies and guidelines
• Ensure Health & Safety policies and processes are achieved
• Ensure that department reporting processes and standards are continually maintained
• Actively promoting TDF Group Rentals services in alignment with company brand policies and standards

Qualifications:

• Excellent leadership skills with the passion to help mentor a successful team
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills
• Experience in retail or business to business sales, marketing and customer service
• Minimum 5 years in a management role
• Must have experience within a similar industry supervising a large team
• Strong alignment with the DRIVING FORCE values – Integrity, Passion, Commitment and Respect
