Habitat for Humanity Okanagan are recruiting for the unique role of ReStore Operations Support to join their awesome team.

We need someone with an assortment of skills! You must be handy with a screwdriver, comfortable with an Excel spreadsheet and very organized.
You will have great written and verbal communication skills and the ability to connect and build relationships with our staff, donors, customers, and volunteers.
Excellent organizational skills are a must, as well as the ability to be flexible and accommodating.
This role is will include some travel throughout the Okanagan Valley.
Hours are 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. Monday to Friday.

JOB DESCRIPTION: ReStore Operations Support
Qualifications:
· High school diploma
· Competent with Microsoft Word, Excel and Teams
· Valid, clean class 5 driver’s licence
· Scheduling/dispatch experience considered an asset
· Reliable vehicle as traveling might be required
· Forklift certificate an asset
General Skills:
· Minimum of 2 years general construction experience, including carpentry
· Excellent customer service skills
· Polite and helpful with a confident outgoing personality and engaging telephone manner
· Exceptional time management and organizational skills
· Able to prioritize and manage multiple assignments, as well as competing priorities from different managers
· Excellent interpersonal skills; good team player
· Views safety as on ongoing priority
· Proficient written and verbal communication skills
General Accountabilities:
· Reports to Regional Manager
· Ensure customers and donors receive pleasant, fair, and equitable treatment at all times
· Supports ReStore management with the training of all staff and volunteers to enable them to competently perform their responsibilities as outlined in the ReStore policies and procedures
· Acts with consideration to profitability for the business.
· Reporting all incidents and hazards to ReStore manager
Specific Responsibilities:
Store Operations:
· Perform minor repairs and general maintenance of ReStore facilities
· Provide ReStore associate coverage at different locations within Okanagan Affiliate region
· Determining the suitability of donated product, based on ReStore Okanagan guidelines, and informing customers of these guidelines
· Driving truck and forklift, as required
· Loading & unloading of product
Kitchen Salvage
· Determining the suitability of kitchen condition for resale, based on ReStore Okanagan guidelines, and informing customers of these guidelines
· Scheduling removal and collection of the kitchens with the donors and volunteers
· Lead, supervise and/or support the work of the salvage crew members
· Safely pack load and return salvaged kitchens to ReStore locations.
· Leave properties in a neat tidy and organize condition, free of any damage or hazards
· Maintain work schedule for salvage team, ensure team is aware and compliant with all HFHO policies and procedures
· Provide training and leadership for salvage team
· Maintain kitchen salvage Excel database
· Prepare monthly status reports
· Promotion of program to local cabinet companies
