Job: RV Park Manager March 15 – November 15, 2024
Job Purpose: The RV Manager will lead an on-site maintenance and customer service team. With the RV Park Manager’s leadership, they handle overall daily maintenance and upkeep of property grounds, facilities, various utility systems and provide outstanding customer service.
Includes a trailer pad, or a trailer if needed. Couples or Singles accepted.
Qualifications: As the RV Manager, you must be reliable and focused on providing exceptional customer service. You must also be highly organized and detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Minimum 3 years in general maintenance role, preferably in a campground or resort.
- Minimum 1 year experience managing a team, preferably in a campground or resort.
- Demonstrated knowledge of, and broad experience in general maintenance techniques and repair work.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- General knowledge of janitorial work, plumbing, electrical, and grounds maintenance.
Competencies & Duties
- Hire, train, and manage the RV maintenance and customer service teams.
- After training, understand and utilize the KOA software and applicable brand obligations.
- Manage site bookings, including reservations, long-stays, and walk-ins.
- Maintain the RV Park store, including purchasing, inventory, and sales.
- Maintain RV Park indoor facilities, including common room, laundry, showers, etc.
- Maintain RV Park outdoor facilities, including sites, common spaces, a spray park, a dog park, and recreation facilities.
- Establish and prioritize daily tasks to be completed by maintenance and customer service teams.
- Follow-up on work assignments to ensure efficient, thorough completion of assigned work orders.
- Maintain record of types and frequency of service requests received.
- Responsibilities include the moving of RV’s with truck for timely arrivals and departures
- Establish an emergency maintenance on-call schedule.
- Oversee maintenance projects and manage on-site contractors
- Main contact for all inspectors
- Safely perform duties adhering to all safety procedures and properly using safety equipment.
- Assist in all aspects of RV park maintenance and repair of grounds and facilities
- Ensure completion of routine maintenance and minor emergency repairs.
- Ensure proper maintenance of community vehicles.
- Ensure safe storage of hazardous chemicals/equipment.
- Participate in the selection of contractual services
- Maintain inventory of equipment, tools, and supplies.
- Purchase supplies, equipment and services while adhering to budget guidelines.
- Make regular inspections of the guest sites.
- Issue rule reminders and violation notices, and follow ups as needed.
- Understand and maintain monthly purchasing, expenses, labor, and revenue management.
- Organize park-sponsored functions and special occasion celebrations.
- Assist with marketing initiatives and customer service feedback systems such as KOA.com NPS score, and google reviews.
- Other duties as assigned.
Conditions of Employment: You would be required to work both indoors and outdoors, at times through adverse conditions. You would be required to work a flexible schedule according to business needs, including weekends and holidays.
