The S/4 HANA Sr. Program Manager will oversee the delivery of the S/4 HANA implementation at McCain. The S/4 HANA Program Manager is responsible for the planning, controlling, monitoring, execution of and closing of projects linked to contracted deliveries. Responsibilities also include building Program strategies for assigned projects using agile or the waterfall methodologies. Through team management, planning, project clarification, and process ownership, the Program Manager will facilitate creativity, help team members work together, remove impediments to progress, facilitate meetings, foster team empowerment and entrepreneurship, and enable the team to complete tasks on time at a high level of quality. The position requires a good communicator with experience in managing risks, adjusting schedules and tasks to meet committed timelines and can lead Programs.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Program Management:
- Take overall responsibility for planning, executing, and controlling SAP implementation Programs.
- Develop project plans, define deliverables, allocate resources, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead a team of SAP consultants, developers, and analysts.
- Provide direction, guidance, and support to team members, ensuring effective collaboration, communication, and motivation.
- Requirements Analysis:
- Engage relevant teams to collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements, processes, and objectives.
- Coordinate deliverables for that translate these requirements into functional and technical specifications for the SAP solution.
- Solution Design:
- Work closely with the implementation team to design the SAP solution architecture, configure modules, and customize functionalities based on the business requirements. Ensure alignment with best practices and standards.
- Implementation Execution:
- Oversee the configuration, development, testing, and deployment of the SAP solution.
- Monitor progress, identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and ensure adherence to Program timelines and quality standards.
- Mitigate risks that typically come with S4 architecture, Infrastructure platforms like RISE, foresight into mitigation potential scope creep resulting from people, process and S4 technology platform.
- Change Management:
- Coordinate to develop and execute change management strategies to facilitate user adoption and minimize resistance to change.
- Coordinate/Conduct training sessions, create user documentation, and provide ongoing support during and after the implementation.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, external consultants, and SAP vendors.
- Communicate Program status, address concerns, and manage expectations effectively.
- Quality Assurance:
- Establish and enforce quality control processes to ensure the integrity, reliability, and accuracy of the implemented SAP solution.
- Conduct system audits, perform testing, and oversee data migration activities.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, system enhancements, and efficiency gains.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP trends and technologies and leverage them to drive continuous improvement within the organization.
KEY QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCES:
- Appx ~15 years of total SAP experience with at-least 2 end-to-end implementations of SAP S/4. SAP Technical or Functional background is a must.
- Global Delivery exposure is a must have with 3-in-a-box structure (McCain IT, McCain Business and Vendor/Partner)
- In-Depth knowledge of S/4 (Techno-Functional) domain background
- Proficiency in data modeling tools and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certifications related to program management.
- Extensive knowledge and experience of leveraging and/or creating executable PMO playbook for S/4 program/deployment.
- Familiarity with cloud-based SAP solutions.
- S4 Program management exposure in Tier 1 vendors a plus
- Excellent business systems support and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a stand-alone role but also employ team skills as you will be working on cross functional projects and activities.
- Must be technical to understand back-end database and complexity with ERP integration.
- Expert level experience with business process design and refinement
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing needs/environments.
- Experience within ERP systems such as SAP as well as surround applications
- Self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, decision-making, research, analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills
- Excellent business systems support and customer service skills.
