Sales Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support to the Sales Manager, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and handling correspondence.
• Take group and event inquiries, providing information and assistance to potential clients.
• Create group blocks and reservations, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
• Develop and maintain banquet event orders (BEOs) for scheduled events.
• Coordinate with the Executive Chef and Banquet Supervisor to review weekly events and discuss details regarding their execution.
• Assist in the coordination and execution of sales events, conferences, and other promotional activities.
• Prepare sales reports and presentations for management review.
• Respond to customer inquiries and assist in the preparation of sales proposals.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth communication and execution of sales strategies.
• Maintain and update customer databases and sales records.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in an administrative or sales support role is preferred.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Knowledge of the hospitality industry is a plus.
• Must be fully fluent in English.

Education:

• High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality, or a related field is preferred.

Salary: From $18.00 per hour
