Sales Associate, [Tofino, Bc] Key Holder | Full Time Position

The Den Refillery, established in 2019 by Kristen O’Keefe and Diane Rudge in Ucluelet, BC, is a sustainable retail haven committed to promoting eco-conscious living. Specializing in curated wellness products, we are pioneers of the Sustainable & Circular Accommodation Program (SCAP) aimed at transforming hospitality.

Responsibilities:

As a Sales Associate and Key Holder at The Den Refillery, you will contribute to ourcommitment to sustainability and innovation.

• Provide exceptional customer service by offering product knowledge and assistance.
• Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a professional manner.
• Assist in achieving sales targets by actively engaging with customers.
• Assist in implementing sales strategies to promote products and enhance revenue
• Assist in day-to-day store operations to ensure smooth processes.
• Act as a Key Holder, responsible for opening and closing the store.
• Support the implementation of visual merchandising strategies.
• Ensure effective product displays to attract customer attention.
• Assist in monitoring and managing inventory levels.Participate in stock audits to
• maintain accurate inventory records
• Build positive relationships with the local community.
• Participate in community events and explore collaboration opportunities.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of retail experience, with a preference for eco-friendly or sustainable retail environments.
• Passionate about sustainability and a commitment to eco-conscious living.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused with a keen interest in wellness products.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, and independently.
• Organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to take on responsibilities as a Key Holder.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to lift 40 lbs

Wage:

• Hours: Full Time: 30 to 40 hours per week
• Compensation: Hourly Rate starting at $21.50 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
