Sales Associate: Windows And Doors

The role of the Sales Associate is integral to the development of our family-based business. It requires an ambitious and entrepreneurial individual with a high level of professionalism, organization, and relationally based sales approach. The Sales Associate will be responsible for managing leads, quotes, and sales processes in Windows and Doors department by leveraging their acquired knowledge to maximize sales and business growth. They will have a strong understanding of the sales process, excelling at generating leads, building customer relationships, and closing deals.

Qualifications

The Sales Associate will possess and continue to develop the following KSA’s:

• 5+ years experience in Window and Doors sales
• Able to provide exceptional face to face customer service while determining customer’s needs.
• Exceptional communication with customers and other Shepherd employees.
• Ability to accurately measure, document and project quotes.
• Ability to organize and plan time effectively.
• Ability to manage leads, quotes and sales processes.
• Demonstrate success in Window and Doors Department sales.
• Ability to take direction from the design center manager.
• Self-starter, detail oriented with disciplined work habits.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Practice an action-oriented “can-do” attitude and ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.

The major areas of responsibilities of the Sales Associate includes but are not limited to the following:

• Greet customers with a positive welcome and assisting them into a great shopping experience.
• Create an atmosphere where design solutions are achieved by coordinating the purchases of products and services that are consistent with the customer’s preference and budget.
• Generate leads and build relationships by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales opportunities.
• Meet or exceed weekly, monthly, and annual sales quotas through the successful implementation of sales and marketing strategies and tactics.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, salespeople, and department managers.
• Educate customers about the complimentary design service that Shepherd’s salespeople provide, offering as little or as much design service as a customer desires.
• Coordinate with the team to provide exceptional service to customers, before and after the sale, by promptly keeping customers informed of their order status including any delays.
• Represent our company’s brand, products and services, starting with a comprehensive understanding and following with consumer research to identify how our solutions meet customer needs.
• Remain current on design and color trends to assist in the promotion of fashionable design solutions.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $55,000.00-$95,000.00 per year

Supplemental pay types:
