Sales Associate/Product Educator

Full Time - Educator/Sales Associate position available at both our locations. Hillside Mall (1644 Hillside Ave, Victoria) as well as downtown Lower Johnson St. Location (587 Johnson St. Victoria)

We just opened up a new location at Hillside Mall and are now scouting for a passionate, fast-learning and hard-working team member to join as Retail Associate/Nezza Educator.

Job Summary:

Responsible for providing outstanding customer service as per company standards, working with a Point of Sale (POS) system, generating sales, maintaining visual merchandising standards, stocking product shipments and general upkeep of the store’s cleanliness and appearance.

To provide a welcoming, friendly space for our community and educate each footstep about healthy, eco-friendly alternatives to body, bath, beauty and home care products. To contribute to the health and wellbeing of customers, yourself, co-workers and the planet.

Job Responsibilities:

Customer Experience

• Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering Nezza’s Customer Experience and being knowledgeable and well-informed on all products offered.
• Stay up to date on new product launches, monthly campaigns, product promotions and new store layouts!
• Delivering sales through open ended questions & thoughtful product recommendations, addressing customer needs on the floor, & expectations (replenishing, restocking,..etc)
• Being knowledgeable about refill and packaging exchange programs.
• Ensuring shelves are beautifully replenished and stocked to ensure an easy and pleasant product interaction.
• Answering phone and occasionally processing phone orders
• Being efficient and fast while maintaining an ability to multitask and multiserve are key to success in this role. This means taking delegation and responsibility to complete daily tasks while providing excellent customer experience
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment where wellness and cooperation are top of mind!
• Taking initiative to understand and properly use any new systems and procedures that are being implemented.
• Asking questions and communicating with team members if you do not understand procedures or the purpose of a system.

Operations

• Cashing customers out on POS and handling cash and various payment methods (credit/debit/gift cards)
• Completing opening and closing till requirements
• Replenishing shelves, restocking underbunks and maintaining store visual merchandising standards.
• Process product drop offs and ensure each drop off is counted, organized, stocked and maintained properly.
• Surface cleaning during quiet times or in-between tasks and always maintaining an organized clean work space.
• Completing daily tasks when delegated such as: labeling products, putting kits together and exploring creative tasks to improve productivity and store layouts!

Ideal Candidate will have:

- Minimum 1yr experience in Retail/ Customer Service

- Completion of post secondary education will be considered an asset

- Education and passion with aromatherapy and/or natural products is highly recommended

- Compassionate, hard-working, integral and keeps wellness top-of-mind

- Ability take feedback well and action-plan ways to turn opportunities into strengths!

- Fast learner, multi-tasker and great organization skills

- Passionate about thoughtfully connecting with others - interpersonal skills

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Comfortable with cash handeling, POS systems, Google Docs and Excel

Must be available to work Weekends, Holidays or Night Shifts. Seeking full-time but will also consider part time

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
