Join Opreto, a leading provider of flexible, high-quality software development services, as our pioneering Sales Development Representative (SDR)! As the first SDR on our team, you'll have the unique opportunity to shape and define this vital role and the ability to rise through the ranks quickly.
Your primary mission will be outreach, spearheading our efforts to connect with potential clients through list building, cold calling, emails, and other proactive communication channels. Requirements:

  • Education/Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, a related field, or relevant prior experience in sales.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Basic knowledge of CRM software or willingness to learn (HubSpot).
    • Introduction to Agile Software Development concepts is a plus.
  • Skills & Abilities:
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to work in team projects, case studies, or group activities.
    • Proactive and self-motivated with a willingness to learn and adapt.
    • Organizational and time-management skills, with an ability to handle multiple tasks.
    • Motivated by meeting and exceeding goals.
  • Knowledge:
    • Curiosity about the challenges faced by software development consultancies and how they can be addressed.
  • Role-Specific Responsibilities:
    • Source new business and revenue through outbound prospecting efforts
    • Generate and qualify leads through cold calling, emails, and other outbound activities.
    • Effective outreach utilizing both phone and email channels.
    • Schedule meetings and product demos for the sales team.
    • Collaborate with the leadership team to understand targeted lists, messaging, and company offerings.

You must be a good writer and communicator. We work remotely, so most of our work and collaboration is written or voice chat.
