Victory Stone is excited to announce our new Sales Manager position based out of our newly constructed building in Mt.Uniacke, Nova Scotia, set to open July 1st, 2024.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team. The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth in Nova Scotia, developing new business opportunities, recruiting/hiring & training junior sales staff and managing key client accounts. This is a dynamic role that requires strong analytical skills, technical sales knowledge, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
Duties:
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company targets
- Train, coach and mentor junior sales staff to assist in meeting sales targets and exceeding client expectations in a high growth business
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients, providing exceptional customer service
- Conduct outside sales visits to prospective clients, delivering compelling sales presentations, as required wit a wide variety of customers in different sectors
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients to maximize profitability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies
- Utilize CRM software to track sales activities and manage customer accounts
- Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management, owners
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in Stone Fabrication Sales Manager position with minimum 3 years experience in management and min 5 years in stone fabrication industry
- Strong business development skills with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to analyze market data and make data-driven decisions
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Proficiency in using CRM software is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred
