Compensation: $85,000 - $100,000 per year, Including potential bonus
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day, additional hours required during peak season and at month end
At AutoCanada Collision Centres we are looking for a Senior Accountant/Controller to join our team.

- Responsible for daily accounting functions for the Collision Centre
- Setup of new entity within existing operations
- Preparation of month-end reporting requirements
- Review travel and expense claims for employees
- Preparation of bank deposits and daily cash report
- Preparation of bank reconciliations
- Preparing and processing journal entries to ensure proper recording of all business transactions
- Posting of various daily transactions, including Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable
- Preparing payments for review and issuing to vendors
- Various daily and monthly reconciliations
- Reporting and compliance for federal, local, and state taxes
- Payroll compliance and tracking of work locations
- Assisting with implementation and maintenance of internal financial controls and procedures
- Working alongside tax department to ensure compliance on various US requirements
- Other duties as required
- Completion of an Accounting Degree
- Designated Chartered Professional Accountant
- 2-3 + years of Accounting experience
- Experience with Sage Business Works is considered an asset
- Advanced MS Office skills (Excel & Word)
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment with an ability to multi-task and set priorities to meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail, organizational and time management skills
- Flexible to work on a wide variety of projects, tasks, and assignments
- Responding easily to changing priorities
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
