The best candidate for our Service Advisor role would have prior service/parts advisor or considerable retail/food service experience in a professional environment. As well as a shared goal to serve and maintain great relationships with our clients. This position offers performance incentives beyond the hourly rate of pay, resulting in great earning potential!
Other requirements include:
- Responsible for greeting customers, listening to requests, scheduling appointments, and estimating costs;
- Develops estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor; calculating customer's payment, including deductibles if applicable;
- Confirms warranty and service contract coverage by examining customer records and papers; explaining provisions and exclusions;
- Assists with the coordination of alternate transportation such as rental car reservations or shuttle service;
- Work with customers to determine problems with a vehicle and provide technicians with accurate repair descriptions;
- Contact the customer to obtain authorization for repairs as suggested by a Technician, as well as to notify them that the repairs are completed and their vehicle is ready for pick-up;
- Receive payment for the work completed, handle the cash or credit transaction and ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent;
- 1+ years’ experience in the service industry is a MUST;
- Must be able to start the shift at 7:30am and work until 4:30 to 5:00pm;
- Proficiency with computers and technology; experience with CDK software preferred;
- Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner;
- Must be able to perform under pressure and deescalate situations;
- Must be highly organized with the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment;
- Certificate of Conduct and Driver's Abstract are required.
