Job Summary: As a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, understanding HVAC Equipment issues, and coordinating the efficient delivery of maintenance and repair services. You will serve as a key point of contact between customers and the service department, ensuring a positive and professional experience for all clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Interaction:
· Act as a primary point of contact for customers throughout the service process.
· Provide information on available services, repair options, and cost estimates.
· Address customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
2. Service Coordination:
· Schedule appointments for service, maintenance and repairs.
· Coordinate with the service department to ensure timely and accurate completion of work.
· Communicate service updates to customers and manage expectations.
· Provide detailed explanations of recommended services and repairs.
3. Documentation and Record Keeping:
· Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions and service transactions.
· Prepare work orders and invoices to customers, including costs and breakdowns.
· Update and manage customer profiles and service history in the database.
4. Technical Knowledge:
· Stay informed about industry trends, service procedures, and repair techniques.
· Effectively communicate technical information to customers in a clear and understandable manner.
· Collaborate with technicians to ensure accurate diagnosis and resolution of vehicle issues.
5. Sales and Upselling:
· Identify and recommend additional services or maintenance based on condition and manufacturer guidelines.
· Upsell maintenance packages, and other relevant products.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Previous experience in service, customer service, or a related field.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Familiarity with computerized service management systems.
· Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $20.00-$26.00 per hour
