Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the service department
- Manage a team of service advisors and technicians
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Schedule and prioritize service appointments
- Monitor and maintain service department productivity and efficiency
- Train and mentor service department staff
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records of service department activities and expenses
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a dealership environment
- Strong sales and upselling skills
- Excellent mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive repair processes
- Ability to handle cash transactions and perform basic accounting tasks
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build strong relationships with customers
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
