To fulfill Pattison Agricultures vision of GROWING, CONNECTING AND EVOLVING we are looking for a Service Shift Advisor to join our fast-paced, energetic, dealership in Swift Current, SK. This role manages the work order flow of the Service Dept from customer interactions to invoicing. They will work with the Service Business Mgr to maintain high labour performance through increased sales and technician productivity while maintaining high Customer Satisfaction.
Responsibilities
This individuals responsibilities include:
- Generate quotes for customer machine repairs
- Manage entire work order cycle, review for accuracy before billing
- Coach techs to ensure productivity and parts budgets/goals are met
- Identify/execute continuous process improvements
- Back up Mgr in their absence & peak seasons
- Ensure Warranty and Product Improvement Programs are submitted on time
- Internal/external contact for booking repairs and follow up
- Provide excellent Customer Service consistently above standards
- Provide mentorship for new technicians and new hire orientation
Requirements
This would be an ideal position if you have:
- Strong customer service, communications, analytical, problem-solving skills
- Ability to use current computer systems, service-related John Deere systems
- Ability to write/speak effectively to individuals/groups
- Ability to work flexible hours, varying shifts, weekends, holidays
- 5+ years of experience in Service Dept ops
- Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in the repair of ag/turf equipment
