What can you expect from this role?
This role consists of ensuring the achievements towards Production goals in a timely manner by managing the workflow, ensuring a safe working environment, helping develop team autonomy and promoting a strong sense of ownership of the operations process.
As the Shift Manager, you will work in 4 day rotating shift patterns, which will consist of rotations between day and night shifts at our Montreal factory!
Responsibilities
- Manage the workforce, triage and resolve floor issues
- Supervise, evaluate, and coach employees in achieving their skill level
- Ensure that products are consistently manufactured according to the highest quality request and compliance with quality standards
- Improve work quality
Requirements
- 2 year minimum supervisory/management experience in related industry (Production, Manufacturing, etc)
- Able to work the weekends, days or evenings
- Strong leadership skills; providing coaching, feedback, and training to solve problems and quickly take corrective, preventive, and appropriate action, inspiring your team
- Proficiency with computer systems
