We are looking for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all incoming and outgoing shipments are processed accurately and in a timely manner. The Shipping and Receiving Clerk will be responsible for verifying the accuracy of orders, inspecting shipments for damages, and maintaining records of all transactions. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong organizational skills and an eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods.
- Pack and ship orders according to customer specifications.
- Maintain records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and materials.
- Load and unload trucks and other vehicles.
- Prepare shipping documents such as bills of lading, invoices, and packing slips.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
