Position Purpose:
Under direction, loads and unloads trucks. Prepare incoming and outgoing shipments.
Key Job Activities:
- Comparing and identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming
or other records.
- Prepare items for shipment (scan label, place on skid and identify the containers). Move shipments in the transportation unit with a forklift.
- Unpacks and examines incoming shipment; rejects damaged items; records shortages, and
- Routes items to appropriate departments, when applicable.
- Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
- Maintains the integrity of all documentation and properly records the information according to departmental procedures.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
Experience (North America & LATAM):
- High School diploma preferred, or GED required.
- One or more years of experience in a manufacturing or processing environment, demonstrating good organizational and attention to detail skills preferred.
- Ability to work with a computer database
- Ability and experience driving a forklift. Forklift certification is a plus. Available to work in an evening schedule as follows: Tuesday to Friday 3 pm to 11:30 pm and Saturday 8:30 am to 5 pm at 1575 Drew Rd
